The Galaxy II LMS creates, compiles, publishes, manages, and maintains content of learning material created in the system. The Learning Management System comprises of various modules, each of which has Its specific functionalities and applications, to achieve the outcomes explained above.

The LMS serves as a multifunctional integrated platform incorporating:

  • A content vault to upload existing content using any of the following content formats: 3D & 2D animations, videos, MS PowerPoint, PDF’s, MS Word documents, Graphics, Pictures and SCORM.
  • An Asset Vault enables the creation and assembly of course and test content, in the form of “Workflows”. Workflows can be broken down into micro bite sizes.
    • Content relating to SOP’s, COP’s, inductions, and unit standards can be digitally imported with tests.
    • QuadCNav
      • Provides for the development and integration of curricula structures for occupations.
      • Facilitates the integration and association of curricula to occupations.
      • Associates the micro element “workflow” of a course to the curricula of an occupation. This includes the tests which follow the micro-element of Learning.
      • Creates and manages micro element workflows into micro elements.
  • Tests and assessments:
    • Test and assessment pools can be created for randomisation of questions and answers.
    • Tests with questions and answers are contained in the workflow.
